Cockroaches are some unwanted tiny creatures that every person wants to avoid. It comes not only with annoyance but also with severe human health issues. Many people get scared of cockroaches and it is a matter of concern because cockroaches can lead to several health issues.

Typhoid Fever

These tiny creatures are pathogens that have the ability to cause serious illnesses such as typhoid fever. This fever is caused by the transfer of salmonella typhi bacteria in your body. This bacteria enters your body through edible items which are probably infected by cockroaches. So, if the food is infected by cockroaches, then there will be a transfer of such bacteria in the human body and it can lead to typhoid disease. 

Salmonellosis

Salmonellosis is a bacterial disease that is mainly caused due to food contamination. This food is contaminated by the presence of cockroaches. The mere contact of cockroaches with edible food items can lead to the spread of such diseases and therefore, it is suggested that you should keep or store your food products in an airtight container so that these cockroaches cannot affect your food. 

Cholera

This disease is caused by the infections for which cockroaches are mainly responsible. They have huge potential to contaminate food with their vibrio cholerae bacterium. This bacteria is mainly responsible for cousin cholera. Thus, you must keep your house clean and safe from cockroaches so that there is no scope for them. 

Leprosy

This is one of the most chronic diseases which can be caused by cockroaches. It is caused by the mycobacterium leprae which is the main reason to cause leprosy disease. This bacteria affects the skin lesions and it can also cause severe nerve damage in the person. It affects the skin, peripheral nerves, and eyes and nose. Thus, it is better to avoid such chronic diseases and keep the cockroaches away from our house. 

So, these are some of the negative impacts of cockroaches on our health and if you want to protect your loved ones from such negative impacts, then it is better to keep cockroaches at bay.
